Paoli Combines Shine and Sleekness for R5 Management Chair
ORLEANS, IN, JUNE 2008 — The new Paoli R5 management chair offers all-day ergonomic comfort in a fresh sleek, polished form. A range of R5 options for back height, arm and base materials, seating controls and upholstery choices facilitates personalization for diverse executive suites, management offices, conference rooms and workstations.
Fresh Profile and Style Accents
Unlike the overstuffed executive and management chairs of the past, Paoli R5 optimizes comfort and support in a thinner profile with a more sculptured appearance. Open loop arms appear to float along the sides of the seat. Polished aluminum accents provide shine.
Chair designer Bill Raftery of Raftery Design, Inc. likens R5’s style and function options to special ordering your morning coffee just the way you like it. “Specifiers and end users want options that exactly match their seating preferences,” said Raftery.

Paoli R5 seating options include three arm designs: polished aluminum arms with either a wood or black urethane cap and all black urethane arms. The chair base can be specified in polished aluminum or black nylon. High-back or mid-back chair options can be specified with swivel-tilt or synchro-tilt controls. Paoli R5 seating is available in the complete range of Paoli upholstery options including leather and COM.
Raftery has integrated both comfort and support features. “R5 has both practical ergonomic design and it gives users the sensory experience of ‘Ah-h-h’ when they sit in it,” he said.
