New From Paoli: Architectural-Inspired Quoin Lounge Seating Series
ORLEANS, IN, MAY 2008 — The new Quoin Lounge Seating series from Paoli offers a crisp contemporary look in lounge seating with architectural detailing that makes it a distinctive furnishing option for public areas and private office spaces.
Offering edgy design with its angled arm profile, deep seat and the chiseled, layered wood corner wrapping, Paoli Quoin provides seating comfort in lounge chair, settee and sofa models at a mid-range price point. To accommodate design and specifying needs, the Quoin Lounge Seating series is available in the standard range of Paoli wood finishes and upholstery options – with veneer wrapped or fully upholstered options. In addition, Quoin occasional tables are available in wood, white glass, and black glass.
According to series designer Mark Stenftenagel, Quoin’s design was taken from an architectural corner-strengthening detail common in 18th and 19th century buildings. “I love being inspired by design and architecture of the past to realize a fresh form perfectly in sync with current interior design sensibilities and modern function.” said Stenftenagel.
Mark Stenftenagel is President of Q, a product design company in Oakbrook, IL. Stenftenagel’s goal is to create innovative products that sell well and to integrate green design strategies into each of his projects.
