PAOLI AIMS FOR FLEXIBLE STYLE, FUNCTION AND COMFORT WITH THE NEW MIRAVAL SEATING AND TABLE LINE
ORLEANS, IN, JUNE 2007 — Paoli Furniture introduces Miraval, a transitional seating and table line featuring graceful form and comfort embracing today’s public waiting area requirements. Addressing the aesthetic and functional needs of varied applications, the new offering includes guest chairs, freestanding tables, and ganging tables and chairs for use in waiting rooms — from large public spaces to small lobby seating arrangements — and executive offices.
According to furniture designer Marcy King, Marcy King Designs, the functional benefits of Miraval include an arm and leg assembly that allows for arrangements in a dynamic range of configurations. Arrangements include:
- in-line seating with ganging and corner tables
- freestanding guest chairs and lamp and coffee tables
- combination of ganging and freestyle elements
This creates flexible use in formal or utilitarian arrangements, tight spaces and more open layouts.
Aesthetically, gently curving front legs present an inviting approach and lead into a soft and delicately arched and comfortable arm rest. Miraval is made of select hardwoods and offered in Paoli wood finishes. At 23-inches wide by 23-inches deep and 34-inches high, the chair’s fully proportioned upholstered back and seat is designed to provide users with extended comfort. A broad range of Paoli upholsteries and COM are available.
Design flair goes beyond this combination of curves and angles. King has incorporated stainless steel embellishments to the Miraval seating and table design concept. The use of mixed materials offers a stylish contrast of color and texture.
In addition to design, size and scale and functional benefits, Miraval offers specifiers the maintenance advantages of replaceable seats and backs.
