Paoli Welcomes the Entrata Reception Series

ORLEANS, INDIANA, June 2010 — Businesses typically have more than one “front door” where a good impression is important. Paoli’s new Entrata series in maple and cherry makes it possible to design reception areas and administrative workstations for inviting aesthetic appeal and multi-task functionality, with discrete interaction for standing or seated visitors. Entrata was created with the needs of law offices, medical groups, and financial offices in mind.

When confidentiality and optimal organization is important

Entrata was designed for current confidentiality requirements, while providing fully-productive and organized work areas. The raised Reception Top helps visually secure documents and paperwork on desktops. A privacy screen accessory prevents visitors from viewing computer monitors. In addition, Entrata features a remote locking system for wardrobe and other cabinets.

Organization is easy with a comprehensive system of cord management that enables wires and cables to be routed throughout a configuration. Same-height horizontal routing with internal channels between the units greatly reduces or completely eliminates vertical routing.

“Entrata has a place for everything: concealed storage, open shelving, modular cabinetry and versatile working interiors,” say product designers Don Laughter and Matt Laughter, of Archetype+. To help organize reception work spaces, abundant cabinetry choices accommodate various kinds of storage.

Responsive space utilization

Entrata facilitates seated functioning, and features dual-sided handicap access at the 28.5-inch high bridge. To create a pleasant and comfortable working environment, the 54-inch cabinet heights, as well as reception and bridge heights, ensure a broad range of vision for the user who can easily see those approaching. This cabinet height also permits more natural light access into the work space. Additional cabinets are available in 72-inch heights.

According to Archetype+, support staff are often located in remnant spaces that remain after private offices, and conference rooms have been defined. This creates a higher importance on dimensional versatility and furniture that can be configured for unusual layout and functional needs. Entrata meets these needs.

The L-shaped workstation comes in two sizes: 48” x 60”, and 48” x 66” with a pedestal.

Emphasizing aesthetic choices

Both product designers emphasize that a key benefit to Entrata is that it can blend with established Paoli furniture and complement other furnishings, and also be specified to create a unique visual signature for each client.
